Patricia Lindley

Patricia Lindley (PAC, VACS) has been creating art for over 30 years. After participating in the Introductory Design program at the Nova Scotia College of Art, she worked as a technical illustrator at the Bedford Institute of Oceanography. She then followed a programme of artistic training that enabled her to be active in art while raising a family. She now devotes herself full-time to making art and in 2015 graduated from the NSCAD University with a Visual Arts Certificate in Studio. In 2015 she achieved Signature status with the Pastel Artists of Canada. Her work was featured in solo and joint shows in 2010, 2012 and 2013 and since 2011 she has participated in 10 juried events. Since 2011, she has served on the Board of the Peggy’s Cove Area Festival of the Arts and has participated as an artist in numerous Festival events.

Her work is representational and her primary medium is dry pastel though she also produces relief prints, oil paint frottage works and watercolour pieces. She specializes in boat portraits, and landscapes and seascapes of Atlantic Canada.
